It's Been a Minute...

I hope you all understand that the holidays are hectic especially when you have a fully charged 1 year old bouncing around!  I will be back to my normal routine at the beginning of the year.  I miss you all!

Busy week last week, sorry for my absence

Last week I had sooo much going on, so now I am playing catch up!  The weather was chilly this week, but guess what...short sleeves today in Baton Rouge!  This weather is so crazy!

This thrifted dress was worn to my sister in law's graduation yesterday.  I threw on some polka dot stockings and a pair of Aldo Booties.  The bag was from the thrift as well.

I found this corduroy chocolate blazer at the Thrift for my honey for $5!

The weather outside has been chilly lately, and the Hubby has officially transitioned into his Fall wardrobe (which reminds me that I need to swap out my closet asap).  Anywho...Check out how he brought swag to a simple sweatshirt and a pair of sneakers!

Sorry for the mini-vacay: I'M BACK!!!!

I have been swamped with work lately and have been neglecting my followers and for that I apologize.  I vow to do better.

Today I planned on wearing the red and black skirt featured in my most recent haul, but something just wasn't right about it, so I opted for my "Presbyterian Skirt" (in the words of my friend Audrea).  Excuse the fact that my black pumps are not in the picture as I was rushing to get off to church.

The shirt was found in the back of my closet, the skirt came from the thrift store for $4!

Outfit of the Day: Feeling Furry

I love vest and I love fur, so when I woke up and realized that the temperature had drastically dropped, I instantly knew what I was wearing today.  The vest came from the thrift store for $5!

Oh yeah oh yeah, the Family Thrift Store had a huge sale: Everything was 50% off!!! I didn't do too much damage. but my grand total for all the items below including a Ralph Lauren blouse and a pair of Kenneth Cole flats was................................................................. $13.93!!!!
